What a great day it was on Wednesday for our sports day - we always seem to have the hottest day of the year; despite this, the children coped admirably, and a great time was had by all. Thank you to Mrs Bojang for organising the day, Mrs Davis for doing a fabulous job commentating and all the teachers and staff for their hard work preparing the children and trying their best to keep them in the shade. Thank you to the PTA for providing ice poles for every child - they were much appreciated. Thank you all for being enthusiastic spectators when cheering on all our children. The children were fantastically behaved as always, and supported their friends even if they were in different teams. The results were very close, with the Yellow team finishing first, just beating the Red team into second place. There were only 4 points separating the 3rd and 4th teams; with some close races ending with photo finishes, the results really could have gone any way. Thank you for supporting the PTA and the school by purchasing drinks and snacks. It raised over £100.
