On Wednesday, 21 children from across KS2 went to Brickfields to take part in the annual athletics competition. All children had a brilliant morning and did so well. Some felt very nervous on the starting line, but all felt proud at the end of their races. A special mention to: Anna-Sofia who won first in the long jump, second in the 200m and 3rd in the 5/6 girls relay, the rest of the 5/6 relay team: Izzy, Bella, Maisie and Aneya (who also won the vortex throw), Freddie who came third in the 80m and the 3/4 girls relay team (Scarlet, Sophia, Phoebe and Lillie) who came second in their final. All children represented the school brilliantly; thanks to the parents for the support too.
